Projects

Goal 1

Translate Aging Services materials to languages of key populations in the state (Ukrainian, Spanish, Swahili).

Identify and create roadmaps for helping individuals with I/DD and their caregivers navigate various systems and resources, based on the top 14 common questions relevant to aging individuals with I/DD and their families.

Highlights/Milestones Achieved

  • Translated Aging Services FAQ sheets into three languages. 
  • Ran an Aging Disability Resource Link (ADRL) commercial across the Good Health TV system to increase calls to the line. 
  • Completed one Disability Roadmap with a goal of 14. These will be posted on this page as they are finalized in 2025-2026.

Key Resources Developed

The NDSCDD is part of a state team that is focused on bridging the divide between aging and disability.
