2025 Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

NACDD is kicking off the 2025 DD Awareness Campaign: We’re Here All Year!

All State DD Councils will have access to toolkits, graphics, and copy to support this campaign across the year. Below is a toolkit that provides graphics, social media, blog and email copy for State DD Councils to use for outreach. Please tweak any copy to your state DD Council language and voice, as needed.

Campaign Objectives: We’re Here All Year is a two-tier campaign.

Tier 1: NACDD to showcase State DD Councils through impact story submissions and their impact across their state and collective impact across the country.

Tier 2: Engage all Developmental Disabilities (DD) Councils and partner organizations across the states by encouraging community photo submissions, showcasing a range of personal experiences and perspectives. This effort will support in creating a virtual gallery to raise awareness and celebrate DD Awareness Month, all year long.
